ATK Integrated Weapon Systems (IWS) is a leading producer of
medium-caliber gun systems for ground, sea, air platforms, a complete
family of medium-caliber training and tactical ammunition that meets
today's requirements and serves as the cornerstone for tomorrow's Future
Combat Systems. ATK also develops Fire Control Electronics, Sensor
Packages, and Servo Controls. This includes both hardware and software
for these embedded system components.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing local (Mesa,
Arizona) and remote (Minneapolis, MN) General Accounting teams covering
all areas of General Accounting including: A/P, A/R, Inter-Divisional,
Fixed Assets, and General Ledger including Journal Entry, Month &
Year End Close, Account Reconciliation/Analysis, Tax Schedule
Preparation, & Load of Month End Results into Reporting
System.Responsible for providing accounting transaction guidance to
finance & accounting teams. Responsible for ensuring accounting
transactions made on behalf of Integrated Weapon Systems and Armament
Group are carried out in accordance with GAAP as well as adhering to
CAS/FAR regulations, Corporate Finance Policy, and internal disclosure
statements.This individual must be able to travel one week per month
(25%) to spend hands on time with the team at our remote site
(Minneapolis, MN).
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, required.
Professional Certification: CPA, required.
Work Experience:
7-10 years practical application of GAAP.General Accounting experience
with a Government Contractor.Demonstrated knowledge of CAS/FAR.3-5 years
experience with managing and developing direct reports.
Travel:
Willing to travel ~25% (average of one week/month)
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of Cincom/CODA preferred.
