Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly impairment review
files, which include the impairment screens, listing of impairments
taken, historical impairments trends and charts, and other various
impairment exhibits
- Assist in the documentation of impairment recommendations and
decisions with Asset Managers
- Reconciliation of approved impairment amounts to ledger
- Compile monthly credit loss exhibits by issuer, industry, and segment
and prepare quarterly credit loss trend and chart
- Prepare monthly credit loss sales summary for Senior Management
- Prepare quarterly SOP 03-3 review files and documentation
- Create detailed other invested asset schedule, including asset and
income reconciliation
- Researching and responding to requests for financial information from
Corporate Controllers, STAT reporting and GAPM
- Monitoring of the JV/LP tracking system to help ensure that the tax
reporting for PFI's investment partnerships is complete, accurate, and
timely
- Preparation of SOX documentation and analysis of the SOX coverage
amounts
- Create quarterly internal calendar
Qualifications
- College degree in Accounting or Finance
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Solid understanding of Excel
- Knowledge of Oracle a plus
- Self-motivated
- CPA desired (not required)
Comments
- Overtime is required during peak periods
